The obituary of Pastor Bill Fitzhugh, Pastor of Family Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas is incorrect!
In fact, it isn't just incorrect, it is blatantly false.
I know because Bill Fitzhugh was my father, though he tried and now apparently someone else is trying to keep it a secret.
Bill did not marry his high school sweetheart peggy as stated. He first married my mom, Sandra Gail Davis (maiden name) and had 2 children with her.
If he had married just peggy then neither myself, Greg Roberts, nor my sister Tammy would exist.
The obituary also fails to mention his grandchildren: Colton, Travis, and Danielle.

While I'm saddened learning the news of my father's passing on October 12, 2014, I'm also upset that the facts were blatantly disregarded here.
You see, my mom wasn't just a good mom, she was a good person too. And it is for this reason that I cannot let these facts go unnoticed.
She was always the one person we could count on, no matter what. And our grandparents, John and Frances Davis helped us and were appreciated more than they will ever know.
I'm talking about good, honest, hard working people who actually stood for something.....DOING WHAT WAS RIGHT!
Not spineless go along to get along, fake people who choose to keep following the same path.
I can't stand anyone who goes to church claiming to be a christian, and then lies and lives like they never stepped foot in god's door!
Yes, I'm calling whomever wrote the obituary, and those who aren't speaking out about it liars!
Think about it...put yourself in my shoes for a moment. Would you just sit there and let people tell lies to your congregation?
Or would you step up, do what is right by setting the record straight. Letting others know the REAL TRUTH and none of this "cover it up" political maneuvers to sweep it under the rug.
That's one of the biggest problems in today's society is no one stands up and speaks the truth, regardless of what others think.
I've tried for years to reach out to my dad, Bill Fitzhugh, so at the very least we would know one another should something happen.
Now I, nor my sister Tammy, will ever have that chance.
God knows the truth and he will deal with you when the time comes.

Warning Family Church in Pine Bluff Arkansas Real Story !!!
Beware of Family Church in White Hall / Pine Bluff, Arkansas!
As many of you know, I'm the son of Bill Fitzhugh who is the pastor at Family Church in White Hall / Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Thanks to all of you who have given your support.
Today is January 6, 2014 and I'm glad to still be here after my heart attack on October 5th, 2013.
You didn't know about that did you dad, or maybe we should just stick with Bill Fitzhugh since you refuse to contact
myself or your daughter Tammy.
You know it just sickens me that people go to your Family Church in White Hall / Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
That they nor do I know the REAL BILL FITZHUGH.
I'm sure you probably thought that I would eventually become tired of spreading the word of what you've done to your
own flesh and blood. It's not going to happen Bill Fitzhugh.
I will continue to update the people in White Hall / Pine Bluff on the REAL STORY of the pastor of FAMILY CHURCH.
We as your children must deal with your decisions or lack there of, everyday. So you BILL FITZHUGH should have to
answer to the people at Family Church and god himself.
How any father can just ignore and completely slam the door on his own children is beyond me. But to stand up in front
of the people at Family Church and preach the word to them at the same time is beyond shameful. One of these days you
will answer to him for what you have done.
Your children had nothing to do with your relationship with mom, yet you have punished us our entire lives by not even
trying to be there for us.
NO PHONE CALLS! NO LETTERS! NO EMAIL! NO BIRTHDAY CARDS or PRESENTS! NO THANKSGIVING or MERRY CHRISTMAS!
And yet you still don't have a clue what that feels like, do you BILL FITZHUGH?
Well, the word is starting to get out about FAMILY CHURCH in WHITE HALL / PINE BLUFF, ARKANSAS.
As of today there have been over 2,588 views to this blog and I'm sure your being asked is this true. I'll even bet
your either giving some sob story or completely lying altogether. Just not sure what other angle you could use.
BJ, who commented on an earlier post said that you would never respond on the internet. What he didn't know was that
you would never respond by phone or mail either. So lets make this clear again for everyone.
I reached out to you several years ago. I called the church, was told you were on vacation, and then Tammy your daughter,
called and got your number somehow. I then called you and you said it was your birthday. It was a short conversation followed
by never hearing from you again.
Tammy and I wanted to see if after we personally made contact with you, if you wanted a relationship with us. Neither of us
have ever heard from you again.
So lets not have your friends posting comments about you not conversing on the internet. We both know it's much more than that.
You are some piece of work BILL FITZHUGH. Regardless of what happened between you and mom while we were less than 2 years old
is no excuse for what you have put us through all these years. And this has been especially hard on Tammy, which is one of the
main reasons I will never let this go away!
